When you need this form

Before a building's fire safety statement can be signed, someone has to inspect each essential safety measure and record what they found. This checklist captures that round: hydrants, hose reels, extinguishers, exit doors, paths of travel, alarms and emergency lighting, with the servicing result against each item. Most jurisdictions require this evidence periodically, and the person signing the statement will not do so without it.

Defects are where paper records fall down. A live checklist links each failed item to a photo, a corrective action and the date it was closed, so the compliance status of every measure is visible at a glance. Building owners, insurers and certifiers can see the full inspection history instead of a folder of signed sheets with no supporting evidence.

What good looks like
