When you need this form

Assess fire risk when a fire-safety statement is being assembled, when an emergency-readiness review is called, or after a fit-out, change of use or tenancy churn that shifts exits and loads. Storage creeping into corridors, blocked egress and overdue servicing are the usual findings. Recording the assessment is what turns a folder of service certificates into a real view of how the site would perform.

Risk ratings get argued with. A photo of the pallets stacked against the fire exit ends the argument, and the timestamp shows when the building manager was told. Live capture also lets each finding carry an owner and a due date, so the assessment becomes a work list rather than a PDF that sits in a folder until the next review.

• Ignition sources and combustible loads identified area by area.
• Egress paths, exit doors and stairwells checked clear and operable.
• Equipment servicing status confirmed against current records, gaps flagged.
