When you need this form
Site diaries run from mobilisation through to handover. Who was on site, what work progressed, weather that stopped it, deliveries, inspections, visitors, and verbal instructions nobody wrote down. When a principal contractor asks for your safety documentation, the diary shows the day to day. When a delay or variation is argued months later, it is the only contemporaneous account anyone has.
Diaries reconstructed at the end of the week are worth little. Entries made on the day, with photos of progress and conditions, carry weight with the principal contractor, the client and an insurer. GPS and timestamps remove the argument about who was where. A signed handover also closes the gap between shifts where incidents usually hide.

Daily site diary & activity log, answered
Is this a PDF or Word template?
Neither. It is a live form: your crew opens it on their phones, ticks it through, attaches photos and signs on the glass. Every submission is timestamped, GPS-pinned and stored as proof.
What should a daily site diary include?
Who was on site, work completed, weather and conditions, deliveries and plant, inspections, visitors, verbal instructions, delays and any incidents. Photos taken on the day make each entry far harder to dispute.
Who fills in the site diary?
Usually the site supervisor or leading hand, at the end of each day on site. The important part is that it is written the same day, by someone who was actually there.
Can I buy just this one form?
