Roofs fail quietly. Blocked gutters, lifted sheeting, corroded fixings and perished flashings show up as water ingress inside, which is the defect owners complain about most. Add the height safety kit itself: anchor points, static lines, guardrails and ladders that people rely on. Building owners, insurers and incoming managing agents all want a dated inspection record before they accept condition.

Nobody can re-inspect a roof from last quarter, so the photo is the evidence. A live inspection pins each defect to a location, a severity and an image, then carries a corrective action that can be closed out and signed. That trail is what supports an insurance claim or a capital works request months later.
